    It's been so long...

Heya everyone. Before anything, I would like to apologize for breaking my promise of uploading new chapters before Christmas, things just didn't work out. And as for the reason it took me so long to finally release a chapter, just keep reading.

    No excuses

I'm not making any excuses for my absence. I just haven't gotten around to trying to get past the writer's block I'm currently in, and that's not fair for all of you who have been waiting for updates on my fics. I am still trying to push out chapters foe them though, and like I said before, I have more or less half of a chapter ready in one of them.

    An apology

For those of you waiting for new chapters in "A Blazing Life In Equestria" and "The Start Of A New Journey", I would like to apologize for taking so long to post new chapters. See, I write from my Tablet, and recently I'm having an issue with the battery that makes it discharge very quickly, to the point that not even when it's plugged into the socket it can last long if I keep using it. The max

    Should I?

First of all, I want to apologize for taking so long to update The Start of a New Journey. I'm stuck in the 800 words I already did, and am trying very hard to go up to at least 1500 before publishing. Also, the new chapter for A Blazing Life in Equestria is also at 800 words. I'll try to release the new chapters for all my fics before the end of the next month.

    New group!

Hey guys, I decided to make a group. It's called The Super Foalverse, and it centres around foals with powers. My hope is that some of the stories there could eventually all make part of one timeline, like a massive crossover. But it's also okay if that can't happen, just know I'm open to just about everything. Please join if

My opinion on the site update · 2:36pm Jun 6th, 2017

Shadow: Hello there guys. I'm here to give my opinion regarding the mobile version of the site after the update.

I mostly access Fimfiction by my Android phone, using the Uc Browser Mini. The advantage of this browser is that I can access the site much faster using the speed mode, that compacts the page for better visualization. Another advantage is that, when speed mode is active and you click the 'Download as html' button, a page with the chapter or story you clicked will open, letting you read them without the need to download.

Unfortunately, due to the new update, the download button is now drop-out, which doesn't work on speed mode, leaving us users that rely on mobile phones without that advantage.

Other than that, I also use a Windows Phone, and noticed that the page to edit a chapter is now better to use. The 'save' button somehow disappeared, though. But I think I'll manage.

Overall, sure, the update is nice and will probably be a lot beneficial to pc users and people who have a more modern smartphone, but for the likes of me, who use the phone connection because I don't have Wi-Fi, it just ruined the mobile site.

I am of the opinion that the developers of the site make a option to go back to the previous version, or at least remove the drop out download option. Any of those two would be very good.

That said, I hope that no one take this as an insult or destructive criticism, this is merely my opinion. I would also like to hear your thoughts about this on the comments, see ya guys.

As I'm studying web design the main goal of any website is to allow the user to access or view the contents easily and allow navigation on all devices make sure resizing works and have a relatively low load time. I find in my opinion that I like the update for the stylistic changes rather than the added features drop down tabs while allowing compression to clean up the websites looks and not just slap the user in the face is good, but it requires more data to load and thus the problem you have occurs.

The paragraph selection feature is a nuisance on the mobile or touch screen devices and the auto read feature is just a gimmick, while it is nice to have the benefit of both of those features the auto reader is unable to give the characters or story feels if you know what I mean. While the selection feature is nice I would prefer it as a double tap to prevent scrolling accidents.

So in my shortend opinion it's a 8/10 for me it will take a bit of getting use to but overall I like it.

Shadow: Thanks for your opinion, man. Hopefully they are working on these problems, and who knows? They might fix it after they take care of all the other bugs, the one that caused a menu to cover the site on my phone is already solved. Anyways, thanks again and I'll see you.
