Yes, I'm talking about the new Blacksmith chapter, guys.
The way this fic is going, I get the idea that before long this won't be focused on the shippy slice-of-life stuff anymore and might turn dark. My next chapter is an attempt at fitting the changeling sub-plot in while keeping the romance sub-plot at its current state.
Thing is, I've gotten so self-conscious about people complaining about how my story is veering off-track, getting too dark, this, that, etc. So right now I've decided to be an asshole and I'm really just sitting here, looking at the publish button and I don't feel like pressing it. I just don't feel like posting a new chapter immediately if people don't like the direction my fic is taking. Besides, I'm deciding whether I should keep the chapter or scrap it, and I'm really on the fence about it.
In other news, I got about 36 likes on Unexpected Turn of Events, which makes me happy. The more fics I write and the more I update, the more favorites I'll get I imagine. So yeah, I'll keep writing that story. Besides, I have it all planned out. It'll be nice. Probably won't turn too dark. (probably)
I've got nothing, I like Blacksmith but can't figure how to work the plot...
