Soma Cafe: a proposal · 5:41am May 29th, 2017
Over the past few weeks, I've been working on a concept for a story. And when I say "Concept," what I mean this time is "I've written two short stories that provide or at least hint at the basic premise for a larger setting as a whole." Originally, I had conceived of letting the idea be used as the background for a story collab, of sorts: people contribute shorts they want to that particular setting, then the short in question gets added to the collection and they get credited for it.
Then someone cued me in that this isn't exactly allowed.
Well...butts.
Nevertheless, I might try and get a few people to contribute short stories BEFORE the story gets posted up, then ship off the whole thing at once, as a complete task. It's worth a shot, ultimately, and hopefully someone will gun me down if it turns out this ALSO isn't legal.
So if you're interested in getting in on a short story collection, shoot me a PM - i'll reply back with details about the premise and some background history, and hopefully we'll be able to cobble together something grand.
