I was just getting back into writing but on the 8th of may, I went to a doctors appointment. Everything was fine, feeling great, just a check up. Got home, that night I'm off to the hospital in an ambulance. Turns out, I have/had a kidney infection that caused kidney stones. since then i've been on some really nice meds, including painkillers that hit me pretty hard when i use them. work great but... kinda hurt my writing... don't worry i'll do my best.
Happy Escargot Day!!!!
Ouch. I hope you get better!
4545691 I do too, Hydromorphone is a killer, leaves you dazed within min of taking it. I try and only take it if i'm in a ton of pain or just going to bed and in enough pain that i can't sleep.
I do what i can and keep writing when i can though :)
Take all the time you need to recover. We'll still be here when you're ready. Get well soon!
thinking of you K
After my surgeries, I was hooked up to a self-controlled pain pump full of Dilautid. Within seconds of hitting that red button, I was in a nice fog. I learned then how people could get hooked on such substances, so I tried to use it very sparingly. Mind you, I was thankful to have it -- recovery would have been a bear without it -- but you have to be careful with painkillers.
hope your feeling better had gall stones and though I was having a heart attack
they took it now I have no gall (bladder)
