A couple weeks ago I said that I was done with watching the show. There was one unspoken caveat to that however, an episode with a healthy dose of Celestia. So when I heard about today's episode, I couldn't help it, I actually got a little hype. Even better, it's an episode with Glimanem and not fucking Twilight, which is something I've been praying for years now, for the ponies that actually have ties to sun horse be more than Twilight.

So after sitting down to the faithful YouTube, I found the episode and gave it a watch. A summary hence follows.

Everyone involved in this episode is a fucking morons. Celestia and Luna are sisters and have coexeisted for hundreds of years. So what do the writers do? "Lol, they don't know how to communicate!"

I've said it before, I'll say it again and as many times as it needs to be said: This show's writers are fucking dumb. On top of that genius idea that two nigh immortal sisters somehow fucked up on basic communication for thousands of years, the writers finally decided to roll out the Celestia version of Nightmare Moon. An idea that might have been interesting 7 freaking years ago. This on top of the changeling OC that becomes King of the Changelings with his super awesome powers of nonsensical deus ex machina, just lend more credence to the theory that the show and the fandom are slowly devolving into a creative singularity.

And let's take a look at Daybreaker shall we?

It's....every version of evil Celestia ever. Not even going to mention the Freaky Friday aspect. That plotdevice is tired as hell.

But I do like the small talk between them soooo.....If they could give us more Celestia....and Luna....together.....without the Mane 6, I'd.....be willing to watch it.
