When Does Something Stop Being Nostalgic? · 7:42pm May 20th, 2017
I think I can easily say that nostalgia is everywhere, from our t.v shows, games and movies. But when does it stop being nostalgic? Back To The Future, The Mask, The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.
We been getting classic songs from the 50’s to the 80’s, Classic Sonic in Sonic Forces, Mario 3 in… every game since Mario Galaxy. I don’t hate hearing these songs or parts I loved as a kid, but then when does something stop being nostalgic?
I think if something been used a lot like Mario 3 in the new Mario games, or Classic Sonic. Heck even old music, having something overused makes nostalgia tiring, so having something overused makes the nostalgia not nostalgic.
If that makes sense, but does it really matter if we enjoy it? Elvis Presley, Classic Sonic, Super Mario 3 and World. Ghostbusters, I guess if it doesn’t hurt anyone, but I think they should stop laying down the nostalgia as much as they are now. But that just me, I hate it when I get like this.
Mister Phoenix Out.
Nostalgia for me is anything from the early 2000s that I hear in the 2010s. I'm only 19 years old, so I don't really have much to be nostalgic over.
