The Album, and an apology on delays! · 6:40am Oct 4th, 2012

Three things, my five watchers!

Thing one: Just to not get writers block and stuck on plot points, I did a short piece for a collaboration project, called "The Album". I'm a bit late to help it get featured (I mean, it kinda already was while I was away), but I figured I'd share with you. I wrote it in two sittings and did not take time away from normal writing to do so, just to keep me from falling too deeply into one tale and getting tired of it. Feel free to check out the Album here: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/51158/The-Album

Thing two: Unrelated to the above (honest!) I'm a bit stuck on how to proceed in my story, and am consulting with a few other writers for suggestions. I know the key flow and the next set of events, however I need to figure out how to get from Plot A to Plot B, while staring at Plot C, without it seeming contrived.

Thing three: I'm currently experiencing some... concerning health problems that should not be occurring to someone even twice my age. Specifically arrhythmia. I'm visiting a few specialists during my free time which is, unfortunately, less time for writing and more time waiting in waiting rooms and public transit. I have been assured it's 99% just something that'll pass, but there's more tests to do, and one thing you don't want when you hear 99% is knowledge of statistics. (IE: If I'm good 99% of the time, I'm allowed to still be evil 100 minutes per week, 99% isn't nearly close enough to 100 for comfort.). So until that's cleared up I can't say I'll get much work done.

If any of you are Canadian, happy Thanksgiving.

Ouch, i hope that your visits are not too time-consuming and hope nothing too concerning comes out of it. At the very least it'll give you time to planned out some stuff, if not take a break from pace, as you go for your visits. So i'm going on limb, and guess that you need events to help paced out events to make them connected. Anyhow i wish you the best of luck and things turns out in your favor.:scootangel:

Happy Thanksgiving to you too man. Best Regards

1. Ha, "The Album" is already in my mass of read-when-I-get-a-chance fics.:pinkiecrazy: I guess I'll move that one up to the top.
2. I can definitely empathize with you in this respect. Chapter 2 for my story was >10k words, but it did nothing for the plot, the transition between plots & plot points can be extremely difficult, especially if you care about your story enough to make it good (or at least try in my case).
3. Well that's... concerning seems to be the most apt word. I hope everything works out for you.

Jeez. You and your heart stay well now, okay? Won't do to have some horrid complication on or around Turkey Day.

And that album project looks very interesting...
