I'm not dead!
Updating is running slow as I mentioned in a comment to the prior chapter... to the, what, 5 people watching me? You're all great. Either way, I decided to cut the chapter short, it falls just shy of 2k words, due to increasing workload I'll probably be erring closer to 2k than 3k words in near future. I've tossed the leftover 200 words into the next chapter, as it seemed like an ideal breaking point, but as I have no pre-readers, I'll be rereading it over tomorrow before posting it to ensure it's all grammatically correct.
...And to ensure I don't switch the names of random background OC unicorns with those of another, more popular fic. That would be embarrassing. Good thing it hasn't ever happened, right? Eh heh...
Life is like that sometimes, so happy to get it done, then get crushed as I realize it's got glaring, obvious flaws. Happy, sad, happy, sad.

). What you had established on your story regarding ponies birth-defects or varieties ties in greatly to a blog from i'm following has done almost the same as you did (or similar anyways).
