First of all, it is a nice day outside today. Nice sunshine, oh how I missed you. 
And I thought I'd give you all another review today. I'm feeling a little nice today. And because I'm feeling particularly happy today, I'm giving you guys a positive review. Lets begin!
How many of you know Pixar? Oh why am I asking that, of course you all know Pixar. They've produced tons of animated films which are really great, good, and some that are not so great. And I think a lot of ones that people remember are films like Monsters Incorporated, Finding Nemo, Wall-E, Up, the Incredibles, and the one that started it all, Toy Story. I freaking love Pixar's work, well... not all of their work. Cars 2 wasn't that great, but I'll get to it another time.
Today I'm reviewing one of their less popular movies but its still okay in my book. This film was made back in 2006 and starred Owen Wilson and Paul Newman who is sadly no longer with us. And I thought I'd give my input on this. Lets dive into, Cars!
So the movie Cars takes place into a world of sentient vehicles (Don't try to figure out the logic of how this world works or else we'll be here all day) and our focus is on a racecar named Lightning Mcqueen voiced by Owen Wilson. He's racing in an Indianapolis type of race and he has to go to California for another race he must attend to win the title of a winner, but when he gets separated from the truck to drive him there, he's stuck in an old town on Route 66 that he has to repair due to him damaging it, and so its become his own mission to get back into the race.
Let me get my positives out.
First of all, the animation is still spot on and they continue to impress. Plus I really love the backgrounds and the land that's set up. With all of the sunsets, the bright sky, and even the desert landscapes are downright beautiful to look at. It almost makes me wish I was living in Radiator Springs, it looks like a nice town. I rather live in a small town truth be told, that's my kind of place.
Second, I thought the pacing was pretty good, and the characters were pretty alright for the movie. Larry the Cable Guy seemed pretty entertaining as Mater, and Paul Newman pulled off Doc Hudson's character pretty well too. In fact, they even have real life racecar drivers voice characters in this movie, and that is freaking amazing.
Third, there were some jokes that were pretty funny. I can't list them all, but there are some pretty funny jokes, and even some cute nods to other Pixar related stuff that comes in the film. Especially Dinoco.
And now onto the flaws... oh dear.
First of all, why did they have a boob flashing joke in this movie!? Are all cars headlights boobs in this world? If that's the case, then literally everyone is exposed! 
Second... how does this world work? I know I said we'd be here forever, but that is still confusing to me, how is this world work!?
I mean for some vehicles they show them off as primitives, like how bulldozers are bulls, tractors are cows, and heck, even Frank apparently is a raging bull in this world.

Why am I looking at the Sheriff having a prostate checkup!?
What is alive and what isn't!?
Why are there plants if there are no humans in this world!?
How are they made!? Are they manufactured or is there something that gives birth to them!?
Sorry, sorry. Going nuts. But seriously, how? And honestly... that's my only problem with this movie. This world makes no sense. Maybe if they went more into explanation for how this world functions, it could be better.
Aside from that, I think the movie is pretty good. Yes its got some flaws, but its not the worst movie from Pixar. This film is a far cry from the worst... that title goes to Cars 2. If you're into cars and simple fun, you're gonna love this movie. I highly recommend seeing this movie.
My final verdict is a 7 out of 10.

I have never seen this entire movie in one sitting. Never really had the desire to.
To me this is a glorified toy commercial. It's well made, it's wonderfully animated, and I did find it entertaining at times but overall to me this series was a cash grab. I have seen worse more blatant ones. But this movie to me isn't that great.
7 is a fair rating.
Only time will tell how Cars 3 will go.
I agree with that rating, but I would have gone a bit higher only because I'm a bit of a car enthusiast.
