For those who don't know, today is April 24, 2017 but is also Baby's 50th birthday. If you watch Supernatural you know clearly what I'm talking about but if you don't know who Baby is.......allow me to explain.
Baby is a satin black 1967 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan that was made on April 24, 1967 at the General Motors plant in (of course my homestate and literally a hour away from my home) Janesville Wisconsin. She was (if my sources are correct) the 1,000,001 car to roll off the plant line. She was bought by Sal Mortuary and was used to give Bibles to the poor up until his death.
In 1973 a US Marine named John Winchester was looking in the Rainbow Motors used car lot in Lawrence Kansas when he stumbled upon a VW bus and the Impala. He was originally going to buy the VW but a man named Dean Van Halen (which was Johns oldest son Dean traveled back in time) convinced him to buy Baby instead.
Fast forward a few years and after Johns wife Mary dies, he takes his sons Dean and Sam and start hunting monsters and the supernatural. Baby was mainly used as the boy's home until they were old enough to leave. Sam left for college while Dean stayed with his dad until the car was given to him for his 18th birthday.
Baby is not just a car.....she's a member of the Winchester family for decades. She is marked as a major character for the show and even had a episode focused from her view. All I can say as a fan is that Baby means a lot to people....and to me as well. This car shares the same roots as I do and it shows my passion for the show and for muscle cars. Even when the show will be gone for good I'll still remember that beautiful 67 Impala.
All I can say is Happy Birthday Baby. You've made so many people proud. I cannot wait to see you in the next episode.

I'm not quite certain what you are trying to say. Are you saying that parts of the show itself were racist? Or that you didn't like that it had parts that dealt with racism?

I did watch the show. Your statement was ambiguous to me, and I was withholding my response until I understood what you were trying to say. Whether you found some parts of the show racist, or the fact that it covered racism in some of the episodes aired offended you. I believe there is a distinction between the two.
4509089 oh that wasn’t what I meant. I know racism is bad but I wasn't trying to say I was offended by it. I liked at episode cause it focuses on what people would do in that time era and how it can effect people in the future.
I wasn't trying to come out as offensive or that it was bad I just meant that there would be refrences to racism and hate crimes in the show and if you wee offened or disgusted by it to be careful watching it.
