THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!! FOR EPISODE 1 OF SEASON 7
Episode 1. Celestial Advice
Synopsis
After Starlight, Trixie, Discord and Thorax Stopped Queen Chrysalis and transformed the Changelings into better versions of themselves, they we're awarded medals of honour for it. During the episode Twilight realises that friendship lesson wasn't enough for Starlight. Worried with what to do next Twilight turned to her old mentor and friend Princess Celestia. During her talks with Princess Celestia, Twilight Finds out that she must let her pupil (Starlight) Go, but has trouble finding a place to send Starlight like Celestia did For Twilight and begins to freak out. Celestia calms Twilight Down enough to her a story where she had the same fears about sending Twilight away. hearing the story Twilight calmed down and decided what she was going to do with Straight. Twilight Made the big announcement of Starlight graduating from her lessons and decided to not send Starlight away and leave her future in own hooves.
My thoughts on the Episode.
I loved the amount of Princess celestia we got in this episode it was a lot and was very pleased with it. We got great back story this Episode about Celestia and the mane six. It seemed to me that Spike Seems to be ageing in the show more by the way he talks and interacts with others and we got a great Spikebelle image. Also i think Spikes crush on Rarity might be over, basing it on that impression of Rarity. Discord was at his best, winding Twilight up. I feel that this beginning Episode this season is very different to the other Beginning episodes. It didn't have any big disaster to be continued like all the others before them had. I would of like to of seen more changeling interactions.
I don't have time to a review on Episode 2 ill do that tomorrow.
I don't say I pay the most attention to every detail, but the whole first episode i was kind of affraid, Twilight would pull a "Celestia" and to the same crazy stuff.
In story a human said it like that, that she was shoving some underprepared civilians towards a dangerous Dragon that could have gotten them killed and all that stuff. However this background maybe finally makes up for some of concern/ hate or whatever we maybe feel towards Celestia.
Im never to sure where I'm standing in that argument, but I kind of refuse to ignore that Celestia maybe have done some mistakes if we would take the whole stuff more serious, however I'm not that good with words so I probably loose any argument about it.
I think the only thing I hope or hoped for was, that Twilight wouldn'T just repeat that, but if I understood the scene right, then Twilight tried to do exactly that, but was just happy to hear that Starlight didn't wanted to go.
