An aspiring author IRL, I've gotten very much into writing pony fan fiction recently. Should more information than that become relevant later, I'll reveal it.

The Future of the Cataclysm
October 2, 2012 - Conchshellthegeek7

Ladies and gentlemen, I am Conchshellthegeek7. My sleep cycle is completely screwed up right now. In an effort to correct this before I eventually become employed, I've elected to get no sleep for 24 hours. I'm sleep deprived at the moment, and that may or may not be affecting my ability to make decisions. Thus, I've decided to do something I've been putting off for a while. I'm going to start posting this story to my DeviantArt and FanFiction accounts. You'll be able to read the stories there now, if you'd like. Head to my page to get the links to them. That's all I've got for now. So, how about a little sneak peek at the upcoming segments of The RED Cataclysm? I'm currently writing three chapters at once. This isn't that big of a stretch, since all three chapters take place at the same time in-universe. It shouldn't take a genius to work out that each chapter follows the exploits of one mercenary as they go about some wild adventures in Ponyville. And now, submitted for your review, the working titles of those chapters.

Chapter Six: Fiery Passion. In which the Pyro visits Fluttershy's cottage and overhears a "delicate" situation involving her and a close friend.

Chapter Seven: The Savant's Scheme. In which the Medic performs Intentionmancy and begins researching Equestrian history and culture.

Chapter Eight: Magic : Music :: Music : Me. In which the Engineer has a nice chat over breakfast and relives an encounter with former US President Lyndon B. Johnson.

I intend these scenes to be funny, as always, but they are all significant. They all introduce elements that will later be significant to the plot, some sooner than others. Remember, laugh, but think too. That was all I wanted to say. Thank you for your time. Sigh... You know, I'm not looking forward to the upcoming cross-submission. It's going to be a lot of busy-work. Maybe I should get some people in to help me with it...

Regards,
Conchshellthegeek7
