The Family Season deserves an 8.
Then there is The Royal Canterlot Family. I'll give you an 8 for that one too.
It's too bad they don't contain all of my favorite shippings, but they're all great stories I like.

Overall, I've really been enjoying this series, and I eagerly anticipate the next entry!
My personal favorites are The Midnight Dance, The Phoenix Tear, and Daughter of the Moon in that order. I wasn't particularly fond of Crown of Winter. It wasn't bad. I just got tired of how spoiled the next gen was acting. Everything else kind of falls somewhere between the top three and the bottom one.

CartoonNerd12, you should consider posting a blog or something that links all the RCF stories together and lists them in chronological order by author. I have so far read up to The Family Season chronologically.

I totally agree... well theoritically it is already... such post is there (yeah it would be probably more usefull as links instead of just tittles) but... i doesn't contain order of stories from Royal Canterlot Family oneshots series... and some of them are not just between "What Lies Within" and "Crown of Winter", as far as I know.
And for my own personall ranking(although now I've read just first four stories from main series, but I propably would update this comments with every new story read):
1. The Phoenix Tear: 10- (minus just for not so well handling scene of Sunset kidnapping and thread with memory stones - which were really great idea, but it should be done better)
2. Sweet Pea 9+
3. Daughter of the Moon: 9
4. Midnight Dance: 9
(but really, excluding "The Phoenix Tear" it was really hard to put them in any order)
