    Can someone please review my review???

    Okie so I've joined my college newspaper team and they've asked me to do book reviews so in short I just want somebody read the review I've written and let me know what they think :rainbowlaugh:

    It's not due in until the new year so there's no massive rush, but it would be much appreciated just to have some feedback before my first publish :twilightsheepish:

    Thanks, Corn

    I miss talking to people

    I mentioned in one of my last blog posts that I'm staying with my Grandad every weekend. We live in the middle of nowhere, really, just fields and farm land. There's not many people here, and those that do live here tend to be rather elderly. I don't really know where I'm going with this, but the bottom line is I don't have anyone to talk to out here. It's the main reason why I came back to

Llamas are awesome! · 12:17pm Apr 13th, 2017

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

The last blog post I made was mentioning that I have DeviantArt now, so I thought I'd give you an update on my DeviantArt. Well, I'm getting on better with it now. I've uploaded quite a few photos and I have a small amount of followers which I'm thankful for. :pinkiehappy: I've also been sent 18 llamas so far, so I have a super-llama which is incredible to me! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy: Thank you all!!! I've also been sent two points which is also incredible and I find it hard to believe, but thanks again to everyone who's shown support on my DeviantArt page, it's much appreciated! :rainbowkiss::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

There are still some features I'm yet to explore, but I'm getting there.

Here are a few sample photos from my gallery if anyone's interested:

If you want to see more, be sure to check out my gallery on DA, or take a look at my profile.

If any of the links don't work for you, you can search for me, my name is Anomynous-Corn on DeviantArt.

Thank you all for reading, and thanks to everyone who took the time to head over to my page and check it out! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

Well, I think that's all I have to say, so here's The Corn, Signing out.

PS: Llamas are awesome! :pinkiehappy:

Yes! You've embraced the llama. :pinkiecrazy:

4494887 Yes, I have embraced the llama. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh: I might jot have understood the llama at first, but now I am a llama farmer :pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowwild:

4494894 Excellent.

You have a long journey ahead of you, friend.

4494924 :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

I'm prepared for this journey. :rainbowdetermined2::rainbowdetermined2:

I'll make it my mission... And so, mission accepted! :pinkiehappy:

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowwild:

Edit: I have 20 llamas now :rainbowderp::pinkiegasp:

Edit edit: 22 :rainbowderp:

Edit edit edit: 23. :rainbowderp::rainbowderp::rainbowderp:

Llama llama llama llama...

4494926
I used to try to get hundreds by the day, back when I had time to spend. :rainbowlaugh:

4495403 Wow. That's... That's a lot of llamas. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh: But I've seen people with Runaway Llamas and wow, that must take some dedication :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:. :pinkiecrazy:

Llama llama llama llama...

4495413
I might reach that point if I ever become active on there again after college.

4495413
Some people have bots do it for them, but I like seeing people's profiles.

4495415 That would be cool :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:. Just having a Super Llama is cool for me, havibg a Runaway llama would be incredible :derpyderp1: Maybe in a few years time I'll have one... I dunno, how long does it take for someone to get to Runaway Llama stage?

4495416 Wow. People must love llamas a lot to want to get a bot to generate them. :rainbowderp: I mean, I've embraced the llama but sheesh.

4495419
Some people use it as a means of attracting attention to their page. I got over 200 pageviews per day on days that I did some serious llama hunting. I used to be pretty good at sniffing out who actually reciprocates llamas and who doesn't. However, I haven't done a great job reciprocating on my end. I'll have to take some time to catch up, but the only record of llamas sent to me is on my llama badge itself, and it only displays five actions at a time, so I'm going to have to do a lot of clicking.

4495433 Llamas attract attention to your page? :derpyderp2: I didn't know that! Still, I don't think I'll be using any bot. Well, good luck with your clicking, sounds like you have an awful lot of it to do.:derpyderp2:

4495444
Well, I'm not going to jump on that anytime soon, mind you. :rainbowlaugh: Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

And yes. If people feel obliged to thank you or send a llama in return, they'll most likely head to your page in order to do so. It's actually how I met my Brony friend from Bulgaria.

4495458

Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

Why did this make me laugh? :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

Wow. :derpyderp1: Llamas are helping people make friends now? That's awesome!

Also, my brother walked in and read 'llamas are awesome' and just walked straight back out again :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:.

4495889
Perhaps you were reminded of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFEoMO0pc7k

More to help people meet each other. :pinkiesmile:

:pinkiecrazy: You must help him.

4495996 ... I have never seen that before. :derpyderp1: But wow. Uhh, I don't really know how to react :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:.

Nah, I can't be bothered to help him. he's seen that llama's are awesome, he now knows everything he will ever need to know in his life. :pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::rainbowwild: Llamas are awesome.

4496132
I went out to go grab me a cold pop. Then I thought someone was barbecuin'.

But he clearly did not embrace the information if he left. :raritydespair:

4496359 But one day in the future.... He will be sat somewhere....... And he will suddenly think 'Hey, ya know what? Llamas are awesome!'

And that was how the world was made.

4496370

He will be sat somewhere

*seated

:pinkiehappy: I understood that reference!

4496452 Was that wrong because of tenses??? :rainbowhuh:

YES!! SOMEONE WHO GETS THE REFERENCES!! :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

4496459
While "sat" is correct as the past participle for "sit," it is incorrect to use it as an adjective. The correct case is to use the past participle of the word "seat," which is "seated."

4496467 Ooh, I didn't know that. I need to write that down!:derpyderp2:

4496851
To seat oneself means to take a seat, so it makes sense. If one is seated, that means they've taken a seat. :derpytongue2:

4496941 :derpyderp1: That does make sense!

THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

4496990
:pinkiecrazy: We've finally found life's true meaning.

4497133 Lifes true meaning and Lion King references... And llamas, lots of llamas! :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::pinkiecrazy:

4497215
Not my favorite movie, but iconic.

4497315 Ironic? Ha, I suppose it is. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

4497332
Read it again. Iconic. :trollestia: I do believe you've gone completely bonkers.

4497736 Daniel, I went completely bonkers year ago. :rainbowlaugh: I thought it was a bit of a strange thing to say. Thought you were saying it was ironic how I was using llamas and snakes when making references to a film about animals. It wasn't a very strong link but I just thought I'd roll with it. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

Also, is that a quote from Alice in Wonderland? :rainbowhuh:

4497753

year

years

:trollestia: Maaaybe.
:rainbowhuh: I think so, but I never read the books.

4497849 That one was a typo. :facehoof:

... :pinkiegasp: You've never read Alice in Wonderland?! Please say you've watched the film.

4498242
The one with Johnny Depp, yes, in full.
The original Disney animated film, barely.

4498318 That would be the same for me.:rainbowlaugh::twilightsheepish: Well, at least you've watched the film. What did ya think?:derpytongue2:

4498344
The settings were quite surreal, and the costuming was otherworldly, which was fitting, given the plot. I sang "Almost Alice" in a choir several years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't like the rest of the soundtrack as much.

4498354 I'm going to be honest with you, I had to google that song. :rainbowderp:

What about Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez? :derpyderp1: Or White Rabbit by Pink? :pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:

Edit: Or Just Like Fire, also by Pink?

4498391
I have not listened to any of those songs; I don't think they're from the movie. :rainbowhuh:

4498998 No, but I think they were used in advertising for it. :pinkiecrazy: And you said you didn't like the rest of the soundtrack, so what would be the point in me asking you if you liked one of those? :pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:

4499354
You're using Pinkamena, but clearly you should be using Twilight because you're being logical. :twilightsmile:

4499431 True, but there's nothing to say I can't use Pinkamena in this situation, even if it's not the best choice. And I like Pinkamena... :rainbowlaugh::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:

:twilightsmile::rainbowwild:

4499452
Me, too, Corn. Me, too. :pinkiecrazy:

4499468 Yay for Pinkamena! :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy:

I've gotta go now anyway, I'll be back in about an hour... :derpytongue2:

4499474
I also must go, but it's to write my paper. Hopefully, it won't take too, too long.

4499501 Well it's been an hour and I'm back. Good luck with your paper. :twilightsmile:

4499532
Thanks! I just finished it about half an hour ago and sent it in. Shouldn't be too bad. I think my write-up was a bit short, though. :twilightsheepish: I was toward the bottom of my length requirement. Only about a third of my paper was supposed to be explaining it, and about half of it actually was.

4499955 Ah. Well if you've already sent it in I suppose all we can do now is hope it's good enough. :twilightsheepish: Best of luck with it. :twilightsmile:

I had to hand my health and social care work in recently and I'm really worried that it's not good enough, even though everyone who's read it says that it's fine I just can't help but think I've missed the mark. I'm supposed to be getting a distinction on it, you see, but I think I'm looking more towards a merit. :applejackconfused: I guess it's just a matter of waiting for the results now...

4499991
Thank you! It shouldn't be too bad, and there wasn't much else I could write for it, I think. I have to consider what my time is worth to me, too. My "A" in that class should be pretty secure. My lowest grade out of all my assignments in that class is a 100%, and my lowest test and quiz grade is a 95%. :pinkiesmile:

I'm not sure what the terms "distinction" and "merit" mean in this context, although I guess you mean that "merit" is a better qualitative grade.

4500075 Wow. :derpyderp1: With a lowest grade of 100% and 95%, I don't see that you should have anything to worry about, I think you'll do just fine. :pinkiehappy: Still, good luck with it though.

Well, Btec subjects are different to GCSEs. Health and Social care is a Btec so it uses the pass-distinction system rather than the 1-9. In order from lowest grade to highest, it goes: fail, pass, merit, distinction, distinction star. I'm expected to get a distinction in my work but I don't think it's to the best standard, so I think I'm looking more at a merit. I know that part of my work is at distinction level but the other part of it I think is letting it down, but I worked so hard on the first part that I ran out of tine to finish the second. My Mum says it's fine though, and she thinks I'm going to get a distinction, but I don't think I will.

4500466
None of those grades were a cakewalk to get, unfortunately. :twilightsheepish: But! I'd say my performance in that class is exceptional, even for me.

Okay, now I understand. Well, I hope the dice roll in your favor. If they don't, you can compensate elsewhere, can't you?
