I never personally liked Romeo and Juliet. I found it too pretentious for its own good, too predictable, and just boring. Both of the main characters are complete idiots who "fall in love with each other" at first glance, knowing NOTHING about one another, and proclaim that they would gladly die for one another. It isn't tragic, it's stupid. Reality needed to come in with it's big ass hammer and wack them upside the head for being so damned stupid...
