A long time coming update · 10:47pm Mar 29th, 2017
Its been over a year since any stories got updated, and almost a year since I did a blog post. The reason being my irl job and my desire to become a published author. I've been focused on both but its about time I try to finish my stories here. So this blog is to update anyone who cares what I'm doing.
High and Dry: I did write some, but I realized there's something missing... For now its still on hiatus until I can find time to rewatch the inspiration material to keep it as good as the first six chapters were. So don't fret if you follow this, it will get updated, I just don't want it suffering because I rushed the new six chapters out just to get them out there. Quality, not Quantity.
World of the Frozen Moon: Resumed with chapter four now live. Again I'm still self-editing, but it'll get there, I intend to write the basics of the remaining story over the next week or two, then work on editing.
Now for some new things.
Following Hearths Warming Eve for Scootaloo and Dream of Another Shore will be the third and final in the feel-good Scootaloo series. I'm not sure if it will stick to my plans for one from two years ago, but we'll see. Once I have a more firm idea in place, it'll get going.
And the most important news.
Ruining Harmony is getting a sequel. It wasn't my most popular story, due to it being literally the first thing I wrote in FIMFiction's early days, back when the worst a fanfic in this fandom could get was the infamous Cupcakes. I think the reason Ruining Harmony wasn't so popular was because well, it wasn't bright and cheerful, it was literally about a villain who was trying to break the bond between the Elements of Harmony and the Mane Six. It also required a lot of keeping track of just what was going on, because the order the story goes in, wasn't the order the villain was seeing it. Because time travel shenanigans.
So why is it getting a sequel? Because time travel. The first story set up several alternate timelines, each branching from each story arc. As such, Ruining Harmony 2 (the placeholder name) will be following one of these timelines. There is a story planned and places it from the first story, but I don't have anything written just yet besides a rough outline.
That's all for this blog, I don't have an editor I think, its hard to tell because my editor is busy irl again. Like to the point I fell two seasons behind on the show and still have yet to see season six. Until next time...
