I don't know. I've been thinking about this story a lot lately. I hate that I abandoned it. I hate that I essentially abandoned the site with no explanation really. Life got really busy, I'm graduating this year, there were some tough times while I was gone where I wasn't in a good head state. But anyways, excuses aside, I'm not satisfied with the story as it stands now. I like the premise of it well enough but back when I was first writing it, I was, as seems to be the norm, not in a good head space. I know I've said I'm back like 3 different times, dropped 1 chapter and then disappeared for a year. Actually we're just under 2 months from a year from my last chapter.
Anyways, I'm considering a full rewrite. Does anyone want to see that? Or are you guys satisfied with the way it is and I try and update it more as I get the opportunity to? Let me know what you guys are thinking.
tl;dr I'm a sad person sometimes, considering rewriting A New Star in the Sky. Thoughts?
Personally I like it the way it is BUT if your not happy with it then rewrite it either way it will still be a awesome story :)
I'd love a rewrite, maybe it'll inspire you to keep writing for us here more often!
Life happens don't worry about it and so far the book is brilliant do what you think is best but i would love to see it continue
Please do not drown it in 'fluff' but do add some depth. Maybe and in someone else's perspective, do a paragraph of how the main characters existence is affecting a random character. (Example: Big Brass fighting MC over a 'balls' comment, Early Rise reading something a newspaper says MC has done, or One Shielding Light following MC and thinking 'thoughts' about his new charge.) Add in some of the MC's history without bashing our faces in with it, could have got three chapters out of revealing their darkness.
