After seeing Dusk Melody's depression blog, I thought I could inform her and all of you about the steps on how to be free from depression!
As some of you may know, depression is sprung from stress, which can be either sprung from worry or doubt. I, too, have experienced this kind of stress when I was younger. So here are some easy steps to help you avoid gaining this kind of depression;
1. Take a deep breath and re-think your thoughts. Whatever depressing thought you had go through your mind, rewind to the beginning and create a more happier thought.
2. See the bright side of things. This way, you can think more clearly and even regain the chance of good things happening to you in future.
3. Re-think the situation. If you are in a position that you are uncomfortable with or have a problem that you don't know how to solve, just slow down and think of any good possible ways to sort it out. If you are in a new place and don't like it, imagine it as a new chance to re-make your old life, just in a new location. If it's a problem, then try to think of any form of solution to sort it out.
4. Let others lend a helping hand. When being in depression, always let your friends and/or family know and don't be afraid to ask for help. You do that, and any good friend and/or loving family member will be happy to help you out.
5. Keep an open and optimist mind! If you keep these steps in mind, always remember that a goo thing is always around the corner.
