Stallion of Steel

It's never as bad as it seems. In this world there is right and there is wrong, and that distinction is not difficult to make. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me.

    Where've been part 2

If it seems that I've been taking forever it's because I have. As I said in my last blog I was trying to make some changes in my life. Some are going okay, others not so okay. I failed my road test due to a simple mistake caused by a migraine. So now I have to take online courses and practice for 24 hours. Plus I'm trying out some new medication to help my migraines. It helps somewhat, but I have

    Where I've been.

So it's been a while since I did any writing here. There are mainly three reasons for this.

    1. My depression. My depression has been rearing its ugly head again. Luckily I could locate a therapist nearby and schedule an appointment for a session.

    Legion of Superhero Characters.

So one of the upcoming chapters will be based on its about time. After reading some feedback, I've decided this would be a place to introduce the Legion of Superheroes. The story will closely follow their debut in Adventure Comics #247 The heroes are to be presented as follows.

    Update: where I've been.

It's been two...I think months since I last posted a chapter. I've kind of been busy with other things. Mostly work related. As well as dealing with a bit of writers block. I'll try to get Super Bloom part 2 finished this month. I promise.

    Comet Update.

I'm writing this post to inform you that I've struggled to stay motivated with my writing lately. I've just been overwhelmed with everything that's happening in the world. I keep finding myself easily distracted by news stories and the things I used to do for fun, don't seem to elicit joy from me anymore. I thought at first it was because I was tired from working. But now I think I might be at

Koltonians Physical facts. · 2:04am Mar 21st, 2017

Koltonians hail from the planet Kolton, A world much larger in mass than Equis that orbited a red sun twenty seven light years away.
Their society was highly advanced in the fields of science, technology & culture.

Physiology: Koltonians share many physical traits with Equestrians. Both species are sentient quadrupedal single toed ungulates. Their coats and manes come in a variety of color combinations and both bear colored marks on their flanks. However while at first glance the two species may appear indistinguishable from each other there are many differences in the biology.

Koltonians consist of two separate races. Earth Walkers and Biceracorns.

Earthwalkers: This race bears similarities to the Equestrian Earth Pony in many respects the first and foremost their great strength. Due to Kolton's heavier gravity Earthwalkers are much stronger and more durable than Earth Ponies counterparts. However they lack their ability to grow plants.

Once, when Kolton's sun Roa was still young, The Earth Walkers were gifted with incredible powers including but not limited to near invulnerability, flight, superequine strength, endurance, speed, reflexes, lung capacity, intelligence and senses see subsection list of Earth Walker sensory powers.

( Wingless flying equines that shoot sunlight from their eyes? stop wasting my time with crackpot theories :twilightangry2: )

The source of their powers was due to their race's natural ability to absorb sunlight. Since solar magic disperses the closer it gets to a planet this means that the closer an Earth Walker is to the sun the more solar magic they absorb the more powerful they are. But as the centuries turned to millennia and Roa's light began to fade, these abilities gradually began to deteriorate. By the time of Kolton's destruction the Earth Walkers were a shell of their former race reduced mostly to the Labor and Military Herds although a few prestigious stables like the Stable of El was permitted to remain in the Science Herd.

Biceracorns: This race was notable for the twin horns arranged vertically on their foreheads. Like the Unicorns of Equis these were used to channel solar energy directly into the brain. This trait endowed them with incredible mental powers including but not limited to superequine intelligence, memory, telepathy, psychokinesis, extrasensory perception, teleportation, mental constructs and spell casting. See sub section on Biceracorn magic.

Biceracorns were able to negate the effects of evolutionary deterioration thru the use of bio mechanical implants and genetic engineering. See files on BioMagical Implants and Magic Amplification Technology. (Note to all personnel this information is for those with royal clearance only and is not to leave the library under any circumstances. I've read reports about a blue unicorn mare asking a lot of questions.)

(OMG Extraterrestrial Magic!!! YES YES YES YES YES Send me everything you have on the subject right away! Twilight  )

With each subsequent generation these changes became more and more substantial to the point where most Biceracorns forwent further procreation in favor of immortality via the science of cloning new bodies for their consciousness to be implanted into.
(Wonder what the Princesses would say about this.) By the time of Kolton's destruction The Biceracorns were entirely genetically engineered to live specific livelihoods from birth. These lifestyles were defined by a strict adherence to logic, understanding, learning, planning, creativity and problem solving. This left the Biceracorns mostly sterile of emotions and impulses which they viewed as illogical and taboo.

Biceracorns mostly made up the Science, Artisan, Clerical, and Leadership Herds, taking up the entirety of the Planetary Council. Those Chosen to lead the council were specifically engineered to think and act as an impartial hive mind that would make decisions designed to best benefit Kolton as whole as opposed to favoring certain herds, groups or special interests.

(Telepathically linked to other ponies for centuries!!!! Incapable of expressing individual thoughts emotions or feelings!!! Condemned to a life of all work and no play makes Pinkie a dull mare! STOP THE UNIVERSE I WANT TO GET OFF!!!! :pinkiecrazy: )

Okay Pinkie going crazy is where I draw the line, I'm gonna go hide in the crawlspace until she calms down. This was just something to help my writers block while I try to get back to work on the story.
