It's the program I wrote to fetch all the stories and their metadata. The original version was thrown together during a single day, and then extended using glue, glitter, and scotch tape. It was a mess and should have been rewritten three years ago! But, because I have a full-time job (and then some) as a software developer, finding the energy to keep developing in my spare time has been a bit of a challenge for me. The updater rewrite isn't even completely done yet, but it is in a usable state. I'll start moving the rest of the tools into the same project once the updater is finished.

For now, nothing apart from making releases easier on me. In the long run it will enable me to make improvements to the archive itself. It is nice to have the tools available as a free software project though.

All the trackers I've used seem to be very much dead, so I'll be updating the tracker list soon™. Until then, peers can only be found through DHT.
