Status Report · 11:12pm Feb 13th, 2017
So, that update never materialised, and I'm sorry. It's still sitting half-finished on-site, mostly unchanged from what it was last blog post, because I've been so inundated with work that I haven't touched it in months. I've barely been on the site at all since the New Year (I have 383 unread chapters in my favourites alone) because the fairly-serious health problems I had around then (improving now) left me way behind on a lot of very important work. It's taken me until now to get on top of things again enough to have time to do a blog post, but I think I'm about there with regards to getting life back under control. It's been a hell of a start to the year, but things are calmer now.
Moving into the future, I've decided against making deadlines for chapter uploads, and aim to instead do these things:
1. Write something for the current chapter (even a word) every day.
2. Finish at least one chapter per month.
3. Upload a finished chapter as soon as it's edited, then immediately start the next one.
4. Finish the story by the end of the year. (Ambitious, admittedly, but it's something to work towards).
