Made by this artist, this is probably the most intricate concept for the deer race... I mean look at this... That is some effort... Might actually be tempted to make another deer OC under this headcanon...

Interesting. English clearly isn't the guy's first language, but he nailed the art style. I could see these fitting into the MLP world quite nicely. They're still far too "cute" to fit into a gritty story like JBtD, but I like the variety he's got here. I'd say the ones in my story are closer to Eikerren than anything else, albeit without the wings obviously. Definitely has the regal look about it.
I actually considered having Perytons in my story, albeit much more of a menacing depiction like is described in folklore.

Also, I like the crystalline hooves being used as a magical conduit. Wish I would have thought of that.
