I thought of a new idea for a romance story that's really *cough, cough* caught fire in my mind. Here goes, if you find your ears interested in what I have to say.
What I've been thinking of is a romance between a pegasus and a phoenix. And no, it is NOT, I repeat, NOT a bestiality fic. It's just a simple, but wondrous little love story, with tons of adventure tossed into the mix. I'd rather not delve further into what I have planned to keep spoilers from getting to you. Here's the summary.
The Ring of Fire
While flying around his territory one calm summer day following a particularly dreadful storm, the great phoenix Immolan happens upon the broken, but still very much alive shape of a pegasus in the armor of a soldier. Being a creature of compassion and good will, he chooses to help the stranger and brings her to his nest to heal and recuperate.
Having hit her head fairly hard in the crash, the pegasus, Solar Flare, can only remember some parts of how she got to the valley where her phoenix rescuer makes his residence. Her memories quickly begin to return, but during the time between them coming back to her and recovering from her injuries, she stays with and gets to know her avian caretaker. Immolan takes immense joy in having someone to keep him company, and soon the phoenix feels like new emotions are beginning to burn in his very soul just by being with her...
