I Totally Wish I Was Young Again. · 7:56pm Jan 30th, 2017
I missed the old days hanging out with my old friends. I rememebered watching My Little Pony back in 6th grade and it helped me get new friends in the future.
Oh man. This show is like a life saver for me since rewatching season 1 in middle school. Friendship is Magic. Lol so much memories. XD
When the show started in 2010, the majority of Bronies were in college / mid 20's while you were in middle school.
You wish you were young again!? Some of these guys are heading into their 40's.

What else can I say? I was young, innocent, sexy, my mental health was perfect, and all my friends were still alive.
Now I'm 20 years old and I still remember everything like it was yesterday. The nostalgia just keeps getting to me.

Spoiler Alert: It doesn't get easier.
It can get better. But never easier.
You're in your 20's. Your prime. These can be the best years of your life. You can make friends that you will have for the rest of your life. I keep in touch with only three people from high school. Everyone else are people I met after. But you need to make the effort to make friends, and make the effort to keep them! That's the part everyone seems to be fucking up nowadays. You need to make the effort to keep your friends. Even if you are making more of an effort than them sometimes. It is worth so much more in the long run.
Believe that.
But unless you have some kind of terminal illness, make it to 30 before you start talking about feeling old.

I've already made my peace with growing up. But my mental illness isn't getting better thanks to my stupid parents and the incompetent doctors.
Oh yeah, and I got the whole friendship thing under control. Most of my friends are either dead, moved to the states, or just moved on... or became drug addicts.
At least some of my friends are always there for me when I need them. I'm still in the process of putting myself back together.

As the saying goes,
but everyone forgets the second part,
With friends, it's always about quality over quantity.
Always.
