Ponymon Girls Deleted Concepts/Behind the Scenes · 11:05pm Jan 27th, 2017

When I started this series of fanfictions, I originally had some ideas and concepts that never made it into the stories. First, Articuno in the first story would have required Fluttershy to travel through the Portal and have Ness take her to the town of Winters. Afterwards, Ness would have taken a role similar to that of Brock from the anime, much like Rainbow later did for Misty/May/Dawn.

Next, the second story has been going in a way that I originally didn't expect it to. First of all, Rainbow Dash was NEVER meant to appear in the story, nor were the Eon Pokemon, Latios and Latias. Instead Fluttershy was going to travel by herself and would have used Charizard to get around instead of Latias. The Legendary Beasts were initially going to roam all over Caterlot and Fluttershy would have been forced to chase them around and fight them over and over, with the Beast either using Roar or fleeing each time (except for Suicune who would have acted in a similar manner that he did in Crystal and Heart Gold/Soul Silver, meaning that Fluttershy would have had to chase it around the town before finally fighting it at a certain location).

A title has already been chosen for the third installment. It will be called "Ponymon Girls 3: Gems of Corundum" (corundum is the second hardest mineral in existence and the official geological term for rubies and sapphires, which are the names of the main installments of the third generation of Pokemon, and you can trust me on the terminology because I am a geology major).

One last thing. A while back, I would have thought that this series probably wouldn't have made it as far as it has today. When I was writing the first one, I developed a case of Writer's Block part way through. I couldn't come up with anything to drive the story along (I write these without a story board or anything like that, so I only have a generic idea of what I want the story to be about), so the first story was originally going to be cancelled shortly after publishing it. If it weren't for a helpful suggestion from someone who I now consider my friend, the story would not have been completed (thank you lunarderpy1).
