Now I have searched this site for a little over a year now enjoying over a hundred different stories. But I've come to notice something and that is there are a good number of stories of humans in equestria but I find a very low number of humans being turned into monsters and forced to cope. Nightmare moon, Sombra, Tirek, and others don't count. So here's my idea and I've been thinking for a while and the more I do the more I want to see it. A human perhaps a self insert (still not sure on that part yet) gets tossed into the world the ambient magic in the air turns him into something truly fearsome something that would strike fear into even the most hardened pony. It would steadily grow in power to the point were in time it would even scare itself for fear of what happens when your power grows to rival a god. When this is what you are how shall you make friends when everyone is afraid. Again just a story rolling around in my head.
Never written anything before? I'd say check out Ezn's guide, unless you skip conventions on writing on purpose when writing blogposts. Especially check out the parts on commas and paragraphs
Overall, it's pretty vague, so I'm not sure what to say. I can tell you that a lot of people are probably going to be opposed to the idea, because it sounds like a type of story with a poor track-record, but that doesn't mean that it can't work.
That's not very helpful, I get that, but I'm not the type of person who gives out blanket-statements he can't back up. Ask yourself these things: Where do you want to go with your story? What do you think would be fun with it? Why would people enjoy reading it?
Like I said in response to you on my profile-page, you made me write a small essay on writing, would you like to read that, or would that be unmotivated in response to this?
How much help do you think you need with writing in general?

Sure go ahead. Before you start I'd write a basic outline first. You don't have to stick to it, but it'll help you get a jumpstart on the story. If you get the story rolling I'd be happy to edit it
