Shadows in the Night Storyline and Arcs. · 1:39pm Jan 17th, 2017
Alright! I just wanna get this out there for anyone interested because then y'all can punch me if I get off topic.
Shadows is my flagship of my fleet. It's the one I'll spend the most time on and the one where I will constantly go in and edit and proofread, even after it's finished. Shadows will be long, hopefully, and I want to explain everything about it. The storyline of it will follow my, sadly, typical plot at first, new person who has PTSD is assigned a near impossible task, makes some friends, yadda yadda. But that's where my typical storyline will end and then I'll start exploring newer content for me. I like happy endings, but there was a reason for the prologue title if A Series of Unfortunate Events, things won't get happy for some time once we arrive at the unfortunate event. It will have its happy moments, but over all it will like up to the Dark tag it has. So I'm going to display the arcs now.
Arc 1: Introductory arc: this is the one we are in now, it'll last a few more chapters. Intro arcs are necessary because it introduces characters, basic dynamics of character relationships, and how much the author tinkered the preexisting world.
Arc 2: The beginnings: this is when the main plot will begin to take shape, expect this to be a long arc or long chapters because it'll start off subtle.
Arc 3: The fall: this is where everything is set up, as you can guess, the story will take a dark turn, this is a bridge arc so expect some chapters and a time skip.
Arc 4: A Series of Unfortunate Events: this is the longest Arc, expect a lot of gore, some deaths, near the end, and many battles that aren't always won.
Arc 5: resurrection: this arc is when things turn around, I won't say who died and who lives but expect many battles, many chapters, and many twists.
Arc 6: Limit Burst: final arc, expect longer, more drawn out battles, unlocked potential, and cemented relationships that I'll be hinting at throughout the story. This will last many chapters.
So yeah! That's all six arcs. I hope I'll live up to expectations.
