It's a not a hard thing to notice, but it is something we all strive for. With the next few chapters of Boarders I look at what's written and I feel like I've regressed a bit. More telling then showing, forcing characters to do things that aren't fitting naturally in the narrative but are needed to showcase the character's personality. Forgetting or just outright ignoring things previously written and then having to correct those issues later. Part of it is my in lack of strength in the middle of a story, something I think many authors struggle with (some don't have that problem so let's not group them in to this ). When I start to struggle my enthusiasm for the project take a nose dive so deep it crashes and burns. Don't let the last statement make you think I'm not progressing...it's just that instead of writing pages in minutes and hours, it's done in weeks and months. Granted some of my watch stations are long, boring and give me ample time to write, but I fill those in at the moment with reading fantastic stories.
What's the point of this? Simple, I'm just asking to forgive the time between posting the next few chapters as I try to improve on what's already written, and please keep reading the story when it does get updated.
Oh, btw turned another year older last wed, now I'm not to far away from thirty.
