Pokemon X and Y introduced the ability to pet Pokemon via Pokemon Amie, something that I'll admit I only used to evolve Eevee into Sylveon. But in Sun, I thought that using its successor, Pokemon Refresh, would let Pichu evolve if the "Enjoyment" stat (which I thought was the same as the "Friendship" stat) was maxed out. It wasn't, but it caused me to fall in love with the mechanic. I'm sure the perks (like extra EXP, higher Critical hit ratio, the chance to endure any mortal attack with one hit point, the ability to randomly heal a status condition in battle, and the adorable messages that play when you're choosing what to do in the match and similar scenarios, like low health, using health restorative items in battle, when a Pokemon's attack misses your Pokemon, etc.) helped to seal the deal for me, but what I mostly like about it is how much fun it is to find your Pokemon's preferred location as you pet them, (it's the same for every member of the Pokemon's species, for instance, Magnemite's is the magnet on the left, Pikipek likes the crest of its head being rubbed, Pichu's is the ring around its neck, Munchlax's is the circle on its stomach, and Rowlet's is the leaves on its chest). The only thing that would make it better would be if I could get that "Making Faces" mini game to work.

4377477 I guess Lord Fancy Pants will do for her. If only there was somepony in MLP that's a shy stallion. Laitias likes to conceal itself by shifting the rays of light, which lets it turn invisible, as well as disguising itself as a human.
