I guess to start off, I'm sorry for no updates over the past couple of weeks. That's optimally when I wanted to put some stuff out, but uh... work's been a bit much lately. I work with my dad doing retail stuff and he's the guy that handles all the orders and keeps stuff flowing smoothly for all of us.
Thing is, around Christmas, he was having some issues. We found out it was his heart after one of the store owners forced him to go home to get himself checked out a hospital. He had an operation and I'm happy to inform you all he's doing okay now. He's gonna be out of action for the next couple of months though, and it's sort'a up to me and another guy to do the job he was doing. Even when he comes back, he won't be able to lift stuff or cut things. Obviously, as a result, my hours skyrocketed, and I feel a little more than obligated to try to keep things going fine while my dad's gone. I can't just throw my co-workers under the bus at the moment, plus it'd look bad on a resume, lol.
I was actually planning to look for another job once the holidays were over. I think it would've helped me be able to write more if I wasn't stressing out over my job. Plans are kind'a out the window for that now though. Before all this shit went down I was mostly focusing on patching up Gilda's Redemption. I'm getting through the fourth chapter, or more specifically the part where Gilda runs around Ponyville trying to fix things with the people she'd hurt. Other than that, I was thinking of making a second chapter for Toned n' Boned and hopefully I can really crack down on that Shy x Pinkie fic I mentioned that shows off how their relationship started.
It's gonna be a while before I can get back into the swing of it. It's probably not the news you all wanted to hear, especially since I've gotten so little done before now. The stories are begging for updates and I've just not found the time for it. Hoping I can have something out for you soon though. We'll see how it goes, see you.

It may not be the news that I wanted to hear, but it's good that you're not AWOL. I'm glad your dad's okay, too. Those you-should-get-that-checked situations can end up much worse. Whether it takes weeks or months for new shit, I can't complain ether way. You take her easy, nigga.

I'm at the store from six in the morn to four... usually later since we're a bit understaffed n shizz. It's coming along though. And sheeeeeiiiit I will taker easy, see youz
