My Resolutions for this most auspicious new year of 2017 · 12:15am Jan 2nd, 2017
I don't have that many new ones; just pretty much the same ones as 2015 and 2016.
And they are:
Definites:
1. Draw more.
2. Work on my fan comics.
3. Work on my fanfics and get them up online.
4. Work on losing some weight and getting more exercise this year.
Hopefuls:
1. Get myself a Tablet so I can read stuff so I won’t use all the charge on my phone.
(That sucks.)
2. Get myself a Wacom, or other good brand, graphics tablet.
3. Get a better camera (digital).
4. Get a good brand wide-format all-in-one printer/scanner/copier.
(Our local Office Max has a couple that I’ve had my eye on for awhile.)
5. Work on saving up to get a BETTER laptop, and hopefully ALSO a new desktop PC.
Got come more stuff that I'm thinking about, but for now, I'm concentrating mostly on these.
And anyway, these are my resolutions for this year.
Hopefully some of them come true.

I'll probably need all the help that I can get to get through HALF of it.
I think the hopefuls are easier to pull off than you think. Though I have to ask why a tablet and a laptop?
And meanwhile with me all I'm trying to do is have a good internet connection without dropping for one day.

And as to the laptop, I would like to upgrade a bit from this Chromebook that I have now.
I mean, it's okay, but there's a few things that I don't really like about it.

4365645 Meh. It was going at a smooth 30 mbps an hour or two ago. It dropped out, and now it's back at the usual 300-500 kbps.

And I'm basically a Windows type pf gal myself, really.
The only REAL reason that I got this thing is because my original laptop, an HP convertible one got totally wiped by some sort of virus that basically wiped EVERYTHING off of it (registry, OS... everything), and the tech at Office Max that looked at it told us that it would cost more to fix it than it was worth.
So I've got what basically amounts to a $330.00 doorstop or paperweight sitting in my closet.
AND, on top of all that, my budget wouldn't allow for spending a huge amount of money on a new laptop.
Hence me getting a Chromebook.

Hence why it's sitting in the bottom of my closet.
And nooooo, they ain't. My eMachine desktop PC cost me about $300.00 back when Win XP was the Win OS of choice at the time.

Hmm... desktop prices haven't changed much, assuming you aren't going for a gaming rig, good laptops yeah... are much pricer, making getting a 2-in-1 tablet a possible better option just so you don't have to buy two (granted most 2-in-1s are laptops)
