Happy New Years! + Story Update and News for 2017

Huh... that year went by a lot slower than I thought it would. But then that'd be a lie because my third semester in college went faster than I thought it'd ever go. Besides that this is a new year! Happy New Years everybody!

Other than that I might as well get on with the real business at hand. Writing. Soon I'm going to be dealing with yet another Fiction Workshop class so that should help my writing as well. I also plan on getting more of my reviews (mostly related to the canonical MLP episodes, fanfiction stories, even games and movies not related to what I write about) in a faster fashion. Hopefully. I don't make promises because they're broken but by the light above me, I'm going to try my hardest and do the best I can. Now, firstly story stuff wise. On this user I've done mostly crossovers. So then there's one question I can hear already.

"Feather Note. Why do you only do crossovers? What about Original Content? It'd be cool if you could diversify your stuff."

Well boys and girls, those in between, cats and dogs, molecules and germs... I could go on. Don't worry about that. While I do mainly write crossover stories I still have one idea for an original work. Yes, I believe I've mentioned this before but I share a user with another writer but that was inspired for original content only. While I do like the sound of that, I think I'll bring one original story folder and bring it over here. That way I'm not boring and do the same stuff over and over again. While that being said, there's still a couple stories I need to get out of the way, first.

The True Nightmare: Epitaph

I'm almost done with this story, finally. Took me long enough to get it done but little did I realize how big it actually was. I'm pretty certain that this one is much longer than the first one. Now as for the ending of this story, I'm almost done with the first part of the epilogue. One more scene and then I only have two more parts to write about. (Maybe only one more in the fact that I may want to keep this short, but that'll get figured out here pretty soon). And since the epilogue will be consistent of parts I will release both in a two day time span and then finally mark this story as complete.

While that is a plus for the story, there is still one other story I have to finish as well. As in the term of finish? I mean revisions, mostly. Yes the first story's revisions aren't done. You can blame that on my laziness. Once I get that done, however, I can safely say that I'll have both stories completed. And in turn, that will help out immensely for my lineup of this years writing.

Next part is a sequel to one of my works on my shared user. I'll explain it there mostly so go and check out this story if you want to. (I don't plan strategies for self-marketing because I don't really like putting my stories in that type of self-advertisement kind of way). But if you'd like to take a look, I'll leave a description here with its name. Twinkling Gem.

Now for the next one. The original story I have in mind for my main user will not be told in great detail. (As I love Square Enix's form of trolling because it is so much fun)! I will say this, though. I'll be working with one of my native heritages, that being my German side. The main theme? I'll say this. The story revolving around the main protagonist is going in a direction that is new for me. The actions of the world around said character will be what influences him/her, forcing them into action even though they wished to stay out of it. Since it is original I will try and make sure it isn't a cross over. Although then again this story was also inspired by a certain anime, but I will not be making it into a crossover, like I said before. As for the certain anime? Well, some of you may be familiar with it.

Moving on from that I also promise to do more reviews as well and keep up with that schedule. Right now I am close to having one being done but that process is going to be that I'll be doing something special with this one. That I promise. I may get it out to you guys today, maybe. Maybe even tomorrow. I know I'm ready to get back to it now. New Years Resolutions and all.

As for reviews of episodes of MLP? I'll probably get around to it in the future. (Expect me to do the movies of the series as well). And as for games or movies? I'll be sure to look into that as well.

That's pretty much all I have at the moment. Anything else I'll let you guys know what I'm up to next. Again I wish you guys a Happy New Year and hope you all have a better year than 2016.
