2016. What. A. Year.
Not only did it see the death of several well-known celebrities, such as David Bowie, and Carrie Fisher, but it also saw the craziest election year America has ever known the entire country was given two sub-par candidates and forced to decide which of them sucked the least. Oh, and let's not forget that terrorist attack down in Orlando.
It's also been a pretty chaotic year for me personally: my brother was married, I lost a grandfather and a step-grandmother, donated blood for the first time, got a part-time job, went quail hunting for the first time, submitted some more articles to the Daily Kos...
All in all, a lot happened. Some of it good. A lot of it bad. Hopefully, 2017 will be a better year. And while I'm wishing, I'd like my own space shuttle.
