Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah / Kwanzaa... whatever you celebrate, I hope it's a good one. (To me, it's "Birthmas" because, something you guys probably don't know, I was born on Christmas Day, 1996. And yes, it sucks as much as you'd think. I'm now 20 years old - old enough to not be considered a teen but still too young to adult.)

It's been one Hell of a year for many of us, both personally and worldwide. We have suffered tragedy, loss (more than many know), and the U.S. currently has a walking meme as its president-elect.

But it hasn't been all bad. For me, personally, this was the year I finally discovered this wonderful community. It still amazes me how accepting and kind this community has been. Sure, I've run into the odd asshole or two, but for the most part, I've seen nothing but kindness and understanding. I've met some amazing people - both in and outside the community - and made some good friends. I've finally found a medium in which my creative juices can flow, and it's all thanks to this fandom.

So, whatever your plans today, whatever holiday you celebrate, I truly hope it's a good day for you. But for those of you that are of-age, don't party too hard. We already lost a lot of people this year, please don't get yourself added to that list.
