Yes yes A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

You know, I don't usually get hyped for things. Correction: I don't get hyped for things. I learned my lesson after The Force Awakens.

But apparently not, because holy fucking shit TLOU 2 is coming out!

I can't remember the last time I was this excited for something. The Last of Us is by far one of my favorite video games EVER, and after almost three years, a sequel has finally been announced! And it looks fucking amazing already!

Just... GAH! I CAN'T WAIT!

I know I'm acting like a fucking preteen girl right now, and... you know what? No. I'm not sorry for that. Because this game was fucking awesome. I don't care what some people think.

For those who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, and you have a few hours to kill, I recommend watching someone play it on YouTube. I originally watched this guy play it. That link is to the playlist of his original playthrough, back when the game came out in 2014. There is also the remastered version of the game, which launched with the PS4, and just looks amazing. I warn you, he doesn't edit his videos. If you click those links, you experience everything with him (though, in this case, it's not a bad thing. Just don't watch him play Dark Souls). But he is far from the only person who played it, so if you hate him, you can find others.

Alternatively, you can pick up the game for yourself and play it, which I HIGHLY recommend. The story is too amazing not to experience in one form or another. There's a reason Hollywood is turning it into a real movie (which I worry is going to be awful, so not that hyped for it).

So, yeah. tl;dr: fucking HYPED!

You guys might start seeing more of these nonsense blogs, just so you know. I'm trying to be a bit more open and active online than I already am, and want to tell you guys a bit more about myself than "I write that one war story that still has no direction after thirteen chapters". Plus, Facebook is an overrated piece of garbage, so... yeah, not going over there. Doesn't help that I'm still in the closet about this whole Brony thing, so anything MLP-related is currently unpostable on Facebook for me.

Quick update for my readers: the next chapter of The Defector is in the works. So far, it's looking to be mostly an exposition chapter, but I'm trying to curve it back to the action. Should be up... eh... within the next few weeks? I don't now. Definitely before New Years. Unless my brain stops working again.

Also, I have a couple of new stories in the works as well, that don't take place within the Defector universe (Defector-verse? Should we call it that? Any ideas?). One story is a Star Wars crossover story, and the other is a fantasy story based heavily on a Pathfinder RPG session I was a part of a couple of years ago, just pony-fied. The fantasy story is requiring some tweaks to the system and some character planning, but once that's done, it should be easy to write (since I already know the story). The crossover... is being difficult, I'll be honest. I keep changing my mind with how I want to set it up. If anyone wants to listen to me ramble on about it and give their advice/opinion, shoot me a PM. I welcome the help.

Okay, have we covered everything? Holy hell, that derailed quick. I'll try to keep a lid on that in the future. Just had a lot I wanted to say once the excitement of watching the trailer died down a bit.
