Update and Good News · 4:29am Dec 22nd, 2016
Let us start with the good new. Using a combination of one of my two secondary proofreaders and Grammarly (a nifty and useful grammar app for Google Chrome, or rather it has a GC app.) I have managed to start producing chapters for CLC again. A fic I had gotten stuck with since I wasn't sure how to get to where I wanted to go. Well, that wall has been smashed thanks to random ideas and my friends who helped with details and confirming said details. So, I shouldn't hit any more walls for a while unless I'm very unlucky.
Which actually brings me to the unfortunate update section of this post. Okay, DMM has a specific word count it adheres to. That it's always a rounded number and such. Look at the chapter word count you'll get an idea of what I mean. Well, when I proofread them with my main proofreader and the count doesn't match up, I add or take away words, add whole new lines of flavour dialogue to get that nicely rounded word count. It's because of such changes that I feel uncomfortable using my current method to proofread it. As I don't want to have to do that stuff after people have read it potentially missing changed parts or new parts. Thus DMM is taking a back seat on my priority list. I won't stop writing it, but I won't be publishing any chapters till my main proofreader gets back. He can only do so much from his phone. I have tried writing and such on my phone, ugh, not pretty, just no...
Payday 2: Stealing Equestria is also going well-ish in its revamp. Complete with title change and chapter refinement. I will proofread those chapters how I have been and update you on that fics progress more soon. LoB... Seeing as my main PR has a big part in that with his OC and I am having trouble figuring out a character... When he gets back. I can only do so much without him. DoS will get there. I have some chapters planned out, just need to fill in holes and I will be good.
I have no comments on any Christmas specials this year. I missed my planned Halloween special which was to be hopefully better than last years. Given how close it is and that I have put no thought into it what so ever... Maybe next year. I'll think about it. Nightmare Night is a definite. Hearts and Hooves day... If I come up with something good then yes. Hearth's Warming... I'll see.
