Having trouble getting started · 8:32pm Dec 8th, 2016
I'm having a bit of trouble getting started on my first fic here on FIMfiction. School has been kind of getting in the way of my progress to do exactly that. The post I put on here a few months ago is true to an extent, but has yet to come to pass. My Conan the Barbarian crossover story and my Mewtwo crossover story are still in the phase of chaotic lists of ideas and I think at this point, I may want to save those for a much later date when I am more experienced as a writer. Which in reality, shouldn't be too long.
So I am going to try something else for my first crossover fic. Something that everyone either secretly loves, loves openly or despises with a vengeance. Either way, this character is going to be easier to make a fanfic for sine I have a more organized list of notes for making the outline of the story and I have watched almost every movie and episode in his franchise so far. You all know him as the mascot of Mystery Incorporated and the Brown Great Dane that hunts ghosts with his friends
That's right! I'm going to be experimenting with a Scooby-Doo chapter fanfic.
Now hear me out. Even though the idea may be a little silly, I do intend to put a little bit of seriousness and gore to balance out the goofiness.
Not too much, this will be a Scooby-Doo fan fic after all and Scooby-Doo and MLP: FIM are universally kids' programs. The blood will mostly be restricted to injuries from things like fights between one of the main characters and a bad guy. Injuries from falls or being crushed or some other form of maiming won't count since we know Scooby has a body that is elastic and resilient as a Looney Tunes character's body is.
If anybody has any tips or ideas on villians, scenarios, funny shorts within the story, or any story arc ideas to include into my notes to put into the story, let me know
