So I've Started a Story: Prologue

So right off the bat, this is my first story. I would appreciate If anyone reading would provide constructive criticism, that'd be great as I feel like I'm writing pretty poorly right now. In fact this is my first creative writing anything since high school, so it's pretty much a given that my writing is going to be shit.

First story out of a planned three. No, they're not sequels, they're separate stories. If this one is positively received I'll probably write a sequel but until then we'll just have to see. I won't start writing another story until I'm done with this one.

I tried to foreshadow multiple things in this chapter but i might've fallen flat on my face in my attempt to. So anticipate me making a blog post about how I feel liked I failed at life.

Yes, the main character is named after Jackson C. Frank. One of my favorite albums actually and a huge inspiration on my story. If you haven't listened to it, totally do.

The second chapter will come up soon enough, already started writing it, but I don't know exactly when it's going to come out since I wrote this chapter a week ago and took the entire week editing it.

There won't be a blog post for every single chapter just so that I don't clutter my blog posts but there will be blog posts for clusters of chapters to talk about them.

So I'll post music with each blog post so there's motivation to come back.

Edit: So it took about five days for it to get approved but it's now approved so that's cool

Second chapter's almost done. That doesn't include editing by the way.

And I was just hit by the revelation that only about three people will read this

Final Edit: I've edited this two times because again, I hate making multiple blog posts, especially if I barely have anything to say in them.
