Funny story with this one. My cousin spent 2 hours and like 40 Pokéballs to catch the one Pokémon he wanted, meanwhile I just stroll in, first encounter is Mimikyu, and I caught her on the second Pokéball.

Yes, actually, I need several reasons why you'd want Pikachu over a ELECTRIC/PSYCHIC-TYPE RAICHU.
Oh, and I won't spoil what Salandit and Petilil evolve into, but just know that you may find disappointment when trying to evolve them by level up. You see, only FEMALE Salandit evolve and you can only evolve Petilil with a Sun Stone. Just saying so later in the game you're not like:
"Goddammit, it's the final boss, WHY HAVEN'T YOU EVOLVED, NATSU?!?!"
4315252 Well, I already knew about Natsu. As for why Pikachu over Raichu, well, strange and stupid as it may sound, I feel like I'm forcing Pikachu to evolve, and to me, hell they're more than just little chunks of code in a cartridge. And I've been that way long before Undertale.
