Fun Fact of the Week: At the moment, Panama uses United States currency and coinage, the latter usually mixed with coins of identical size and color, but with different writing and imagery. At one point, before they started using U.S. money, Panama tried to implement their own paper money, but it was taken out of circulation after only 7 days. Today, those discontinued bank notes are worth well more than their face value.
