I owe all of you an apology. · 3:57pm Nov 15th, 2016

To the people who follow me and whoever stumbles across this
Hi. How are you? Good to hear... I think. Anyway, I've been on this site for a quick minute, and I've mad First Contact something like two years ago. I stopped updating or posting about a year ago, the last time I remember being on was roughly May. Basically, its been a while, and I'm sorry. So, so sorry. For not posting, for leaving First Contact as it was. Heck, sorry for making it the way I did. But, I think its time to come back. Is it going to be some incredible return? Maybe. Probably not.
But that's beside the point. The point is, I'm back! For real! Probably. the most apparent change will be the deletion of First Contact to make way for the newest draft! The last one has too many flaws, more than I count, and I've planned the story out a bit more. Is it going to be original? Probably not, I'll admit, but I'll try to make the characters, the plot, and the setting interesting.
So yeah! Step one is to delete First Contact, then to work on the new First Contact! Expect it in roughly a week. For real this time.

I can understand the removal of previous works to do better things. I did the same thing. Just do better than me and actually get started on them. :derpytongue2:

So... does that mean you deleted all past comments too? Part of stories here is the community that surrounds them. Would it not have been better to update rather than delete?

Fuck.
Well, this completely invalidates any attempt at apology, so I won't even bother anymore. So, I'll try mending wounds and trying to put people at ease.
4305491 While deleting the story would do that, almost all of the core issues with the story were only because I was new to writing. I repeated words, conveyed and plotted things poorly, and had overall bad diction. Hell, I remember straight up saying a completely different character's name at one point. Don't get it twisted, criticism is highly appreciated, but the issues were with how young of a writer I was.

So, I don't know what to do anymore. I burned out on my dosage of inspiration for First Contact really quick, so that's probably out of the question for at least the rest of the year. But, I'm hoping to get back to writing here, rather than stuffing whatever I work on in a word document, then deleting it. We'll see.
