We've elected Donald Trump as president.... · 12:32pm Nov 9th, 2016
I know that most, practically all of us don't give a damn about politics. Just a bunch of rich white guys (and ladies) that promise change for the better, and yet seems that all they do is bicker, stonewall, and pretty much gets nothing done, at least it seems to us.
Well, we as a country, The United States of America, has pretty much said in so many words that Hilary Clinton doesn't deserve the presidency, let alone potentially being the first female president when just a decade earlier, we made history by electing the first African-American president. Instead we have elected a guy like Donald Trump to succeed President Obama as the lead of the free world.
I don't know how you guys that are from Australia, the UK, Canada, and other countries handle it, but it just seems weird... Obviously the voters pretty much wanted radical change, but I don't think we needed that much of a radical change that we as a country have just elected someone that have never been a politician in his life, not to mention already a billionaire. But then again, maybe that is exactly what the country needs. Someone that doesn't come from inside the Beltway metaphorically.
I do say that Trump needs to stay away from the red button though...last thing we need is WW3 because his prickly personality pissed off the wrong people...
This is just an opinion.
