HiLiE: "Arc 3.5" is complete. So... what now? · 2:42am Nov 2nd, 2016
So as of writing this, the chapter hasn't been posted just yet. But it will be up just seconds after I hit the "post" button on this blog post. So before anything, go check out the chapter before reading this blog post.
Done? Alright good. If you haven't read the chapter and are still here, then I'm not gonna try to stop you.
Now, you're probably already asking: "Godson, why was this called 'Arc 3.5'?"
Well, for one, it doesn't have as many chapters as a normal arc, now does it? And while this does somewhat follow the usual "each arc following a certain theme" scheme, this "arc" does something just a little different, with each chapter focusing around the four humans in Equestria. Jorge, Ish, Dylan, and Shadow. All in that order.
"Is there any reason why the chapters were posted in that order?"
Yes. I purposefully wrote all four chapters in that specific order, and posted them to fimfic at random days, instead of the usual "chapter a day" thing.
"Why is that, Godson?"
If you haven't noticed, all four characters have just gone through either a major change in their life, (Ishtaba and Dylan), or have had some sort of impact to remind them of everything they've done, and why they're still around. (Jorge and Shadow). There weren't as many keks, if not at all. This is not because of any of the comments HiLiE has gotten (which if you haven't noticed there's 113 of them).
"So, why is this happening then?"
Well, as the saying goes: "All good things must come to an end." HiLiE is no exception. (Even though it's not really that good but you people keep telling me otherwise) I want to have all the characters in a place where I can happily leave them for the end.
"WAIT SO IS THE STORY ENDING HE—"
No! I'm not going to end HiLiE with this chapter. "Arc 3.5" was made to prepare both the characters and you, the readers. For what's coming next. I'm not gonna say what it's gonna be, because we've only just begun writing it after we finished Arc 3.5, but keep your eyes peeled for another blog post, because that's where I'll be talking about what's next.

"So what's gonna happen when HiLiE is over?"
Well, I'll go back to focusing on writing Equestria's Time. While also dealing with my IRL issues. (I never made a blog post about it, but I graduated this year! Whoo!)
I'll still be writing, maybe not as often as I used to, since I start college sometime early 2017. But I still have that motivation to keep on going. Who knows? Maybe I'll write some "side stories" or oneshots based in the HiLiE universe. I'm just mainly trying to finish this story, so I can move on with my other things.
And that's all I have for now, thanks for sticking around this far, and I hope you'll continue to stick around for not only the finale of HiLiE, but for everything else that I've got up my sleeve! If you're only here for HiLiE, that's fine, I don't really blame you. If you're a fan of my writing, stick around, I'm slowly getting better with each chapter I take on. If you just wanna keep up on the things I do, that's cool too, I might start posting semi-frequent blogs here in fimfic. (No I'm not getting a tumblr and using it as a blog like some people have done that's a terrible idea.)
