A Foal Friday for Nightmare Night Weekend · 8:55pm Oct 28th, 2016
Guess who this little fella is going as for Nightmare Night?
A rare Paint Thoroughbred, born in 2016 this little fella was named for his resemblance to the title character from the famous Andrew Lloyd Weber musical, based on the novel 'The Phantom of the Opera' by Gaston Leroux. Southern Phantom, is by Bodemeister out of Out for Revenge, which are oddly appropriate names for the parents considering the themes of the novel. (Photo credit: Anne M. Eberhardt)
And just so as to keep the costume theme going for Nightmare Night ...
How about the namesake Princess of the event herself in the (horse)flesh. (Photo credit: @antirion_elf)
And just some other fun (non-toxic hair dyes and clipper work, plus a very patient horse)

'Raven' is known to appear with her owner mounted up as the Headless Horseman.

Happy Nightmare Night Weekend!
Sir Barton (One Hundred-Year-Old Racehorse)
Reminds me of when the animal whisperer was a maury like show on animal planet and one of the horses "allegedly" said she liked bows on her tail. I choose to believe that's true.
