Oh. Ugh. Um, god damn it, guys.
Ever since Imgur decided to blacklist FIMfic for some laughable reason-or-other, I needed to find a decent hosting site that offered just as little intrusive adware. I come across Postimage, and it does the job just fine. So I migrate many of my important images over there and update links accordingly, allowing FMP chapters to show the scene changes as they're meant to be seen.
Just my luck that Postimage is now shutting down. I mean, I don't hold it against them or anything - very few people could look at a $12,000 payment and not feel a little sick - but it just irks me. It's likely that the site will discontinue all hosting, which will break all the images I put up quicker than my confidence at an interview. That's the future on the horizon, and...gah. I was just getting into a habit of what code to put down.
Welp.
I s'pose that means I'll be on the lookout for if and when my Cutie Dividers break. That will be my cue to find yet another hosting site that won't bombard me with attempted adware. Anyone have a recommendation?
Oh! I beat Enderal! Seriously good mod/overhaul/game. I love it!
I don't think I mentioned this, actually, did I? Enderal, for the unaware, is a complete Skyrim overhaul that creates an entirely new game based on Skyrim's engine. It's a free game in the shape of a mod, and I consider it to be a near-perfect mix of Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Dark Souls, and Skyrim itself. It's a game that's totally new, feels familiar, and treats you like an adult.
I played through on an archer build, like I usually do in first games. My character, Attane'ei (hey, it's fantasy, lemme 'lone), chose to protect as many people as possible. I got up to level 43 by the time I beat the game, racking in over eighty hours of play time, which was split along the past couple months. I started a new character as a Mage build just to see what it's like to actually deal with the Arcane Fever debuff, but I haven't gotten far. I mean, I love it and everything, but I still have work here to do.
Other reviewers can tell you more about Enderal, and they can do it better than me. Still, I recommend getting it for a fresh Skyrim experience. Seriously, guys, it's worth getting even if you have to buy Skyrim all over again. The team that made this really knew how to weave a story. 9.5/10, would be cleansed again.
