Well, that was interesting.

All good things must come to an end, and after two and a half days The Power of Muffins has finally left the Featured Box. It’s the first story of mine to have made it, reaching the very top spot no less. I had seriously considered breaking it up into three chapters and posting them over three days; in hindsight, I’m kinda glad I hadn’t.

A few comments asked about a sequel. I don’t plan on writing one. If I did, however, it wouldn’t focus on Dinky going to Celestia’s school. That story has been done by others, and I don’t have anything to add. No, it would have to focus on Derpy’s problems with her new-found success—and there would have to be problems, or there wouldn’t be a story.

It’s unlikely I’ll ever write that, and in any case I’m already on the hook for a sequel to a different story. Now that this one’s done, I’m running out of excuses to procrastinate. But that is a topic for a different blog post.
