I wrote this short story but this time I want to try something new. I’d like to have someone or a group of people to proofread it.
I feel like an idiot for not having proofreaders before but there are reasons why I never did. Partially why I was so apprehensive on getting pre-readers is that I don't really know how to work the pre-reader / password thing, the other reason is that I am inertly shy. When it comes to asking people to read my works it feels as though I’m convincing people to read crap (as to why I submit them on the internet I’ll never know).
But I digress. The main point is that I have no Idea how to do the proofreading thing and if you’re willing to spare me some of your time to teach me how and to read through a short story I wrote on a whim I’d be grateful.
As for my other works progress is slow as I have little time to really sit down and type anything of length. Between work (now done till next summer), Marching band, the dreaded papers / bogus assignments from class, and my computer crashing twice, I haven't seemed to feel genuinely inspired to write. The next chapters for both of my longfics will take a while since both are only about 33% done...

I'd be happy to take a look at whatever you need help with, although... I'm strapped on time too so I might not get back quickly.
Anyways, I've been working hard on improving my writing so I'm sure I could at least help. If you really want a good job though, send your story over to one of the review boards at ponychan. They've been a huge help to me in the past, so I'm sure they would do a lot to help you too. The only thing is the review threads there are kind of harsh sometimes, so you have to be prepared for that.
Well, if you want some of my pre-read help then here's the dealeo. For efficiency's sake just make your story a google doc and send me a link (make sure to enable commenting). That way I can comment on specific areas. Then after you're done making changes as you see fit you can upload it here with that little up-arrow-button-thing.
