People are still reading my trainwreck, dayum! · 10:57pm Oct 10th, 2016
In 2012, drunk with writing power and not much skill, I wrote my first adventure.
Crowds gasped and I got beat up. Well, I deserved it. This story was a train wreck and it was in a train wreck group.
Hurt by criticism, I went back to writing short stories to hone my craft.
Four years later I look at this thing and it's like, OMFG, PEOPLE ARE STILL READING THIS!
Heck, the number of readers is better than gleaners. The up to downvote ratio bites though.
Also the number of folks having this in their bookshelves is like one.
The story was finished and posted on DA. Then I started to do a rewrite, I guess. I forget what happened next.
I do remember writing a sequel. Even that was almost finished.
A percentage of the population is turned into anthro ponies/zebras. The Earth is attacked by aliens and Equestria sends an emissary to help in the fight.
There was the Terran (Earth) main six. Each of them came from a major country or continent.
North America - Twilight Sparkle analogue.
South America - Pinkie Pie analog.
Europe - Rarity analogue
Russia- Applejack analog
China- Fluttershy analog
Africa- Rainbow Dash analog
With so many readers I wonder if I should:
A Post the rest of the story. The story is done.
B Get an editor and clean up the story.
C Do nothing.
All of the choices are exclusive.
No one has said anything but the stats show people are still reading up to this week.
I wonder if I should fix up this story or just move on.
If folks are still interested, that will give me more incentive to fix the story.
Welp... If you want my opinion, you should first clean up what you've already got. Rewrite the story and optimise it a little. Add author's commentaries. Go wild.
Gotta rectify the lightsabre somehow.
Then, when all's said and done, feel free to continue with more chapters.

Thanks for posting your opnion.
Why?

Two words: Viewership logistics.
By refurbishing your existent chapters, you can rake in tons of likes from newcomers who are smitten by a first good impression.
Only then can you afford continuing your story and expect new people to follow it through to the bitter end.
Old people, meanwhile, will enjoy new chapters regardless.
As I said, that's just my take.

Thanks for explaining.
I will ask the readers and see what they say.
