So... Chrysalis has legged it, Thorax is the new changeling king, and the changelings are good now.

On the one hand, it was a great finale in its own right.

On the other hand, the changeling-focused fic I JUST wrote has been rendered null and void by canon.

I agree that im sick of the writers just reforming every villain but on the other had this could give you great material for another Thorax fic XD, something similar to your Ember story i imagine

also my friend Cyanhyde is in the midst of writing his own changeling fic, which is super interesting and perhaps the reason why i took the finale with a grain of salt (i proofread his story). he is going to be furious when he sees the finale

It completely fucked with my background for Chrysalis, so I've decided that while most of S6 happened in my 'verse, the finale didn't.

Probably replaced with a certain secret project I have for Chrysalis in the 'verse.

I think with any long runner, eventually out of necessity, it's going to become acanonical, you know? The show has its direction, its writers, and you've got your thing; there's no way to keep it 100% in line.
