Random RP intro post · 1:34am Oct 7th, 2016

I make intros for RPs in case I ever get into them. Here's one such intro.

Imperial Lord Captain Rupert Morrison stood on the vast, monolithic bridge of the Retribution-class battleship Holy Indignation, hands clasped and arms behind his back as he watched the bridge officers relax on simple, plush seats set in front of screens. The day so far had been simple, relaxed, and, to be blunt, stale.

Yet deep down, he felt bothered. There was a strange, nagging feeling in his gut, one that said something peculiar was about to happen.

Relax, the man thought to himself, wrinkling his upturned, beak-like nose and taking a breath through wet nostrils slightly larger than your standard Throne (which was the size of a quarter.) He relieved his bushy eyebrows of their concentrated look, letting them settle back onto his rather meek brow ridge. Morrison's bulky, wide shoulders relaxed as he sighed, the air exiting a mouth with thick, moist lips and teeth so white that they almost seemed to glow. The man cracked his short, stout neck, which sat squarely on his wide shoulders and blocky, barrel-esque body.

“Something is bothering you,” came an ancient, tired voice that sounded like sandpaper rubbed against stone. Rupert turned around to make eye contact with a man who seemed like a collection of long-lost, wrinkly gray leather draped in green cloth, that was seated in a large, throne-like seat with two angelic statues flanking him. Astropath Warren Smith wore a wide, surprisingly warm, if rocky smile- the kind one would expect to see a grandfather give his son.

“How did you guess that?” Rupert asked, a slight tone of sarcasm entering his voice as his brown eyes stared into the Astropath’s unseeing, milk-white orbs.

“When you’ve been around a man long enough, you realize how he works,” Warren replied before using his long, pencil-thin, stick-like fingers to scratch the worn eyebrow in the center of his forehead, “even if you can’t see.” The Astropath let out a groan. “Don’t worry, though. There’s nothing in the system aside from us as of now.”

Rupert stared, furrowing his eyebrows as Warren licked his cracked-ground-esque lips, trying to moisten the wrinkled parts of his bodies as to relieve them of their unending drought.

This sounds EPIC! Currently though, I have no OC's atm with which to even attempt this. TuT
